VERNON HILLS, Ill. —Jan. 12, 2026—Antylia Scientific today announced the appointment of Hermes González-Bello as chief executive officer, succeeding Jonathan Salkin, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Antylia’s Board of Directors expressed gratitude to Jonathan Salkin for the advancements achieved at Antylia and recognized the contributions he has made over his 10 years of service.
Antylia Scientific, which was acquired by Brookfield and La Caisse in 2025, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of essential consumables and testing equipment serving diagnostic, environmental and life sciences labs around the world. The company’s products and services are available under respected brands like Cole-Parmer, ZeptoMetrix, Traceable, SPEX, Katanax, SamplePrep and Environmental Express.
González’s main priority will be to accelerate the implementation of the company’s strategic plan. Antylia plans to name a new CEO to succeed González after the company reaches major milestones in its growth strategy.
González brings over 30 years of experience in senior executive leadership roles at major industrial and environmental companies. As a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group, he is responsible for business operations and management of portfolio companies. Before joining Brookfield, he served in various senior management positions at Danaher Corporation, including president at PALL Industrial, Aquafine, and Hach.
